Subject: Our RTI application dated 14-04-2012 about the expenditure incurred by the Government of Gujarat address to your office, Chief Minister Office (CMO) and Labour & Employment Department for the specially announced program “Swami Vivekanand Youth Employment Week”. Most of the information provided by your various departments but till today expenditure incurred by you, the Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, MPs and others officials is not provided to us.
Dear Mr. Modi,
An RTI application dated 14-04-2012 was filed by us to your office asking the details about expenses of Government of Gujarat for organizing “Swami Vivekanand Youth Employment Week”. Till today I have not received the information about travelling expenses incurred by you, the Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, MPs and others officials for these sammelans.
Our RTI application was forwarded to all the districts but district concerned authorities stated that the travelling expenditure of yours, the Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, MPs and other officials are not incurred by them. It is obvious then some department must have incurred the expenses or the expenses demanded are sponsored by somebody. You should provide us the information about the expenditure either incurred by your departments or the name of the sponsorer and its details.
If we are not wrong you have travelled to most of these places by helicopter.
We heard the Chief Minister on TV channels saying that Central Government should not hide information. We agree with you that Central Government should not hide the information. The same is applicable to you also.
We hope that at least now you will direct your office to provide us the information at the earliest.
