Surat: Congress has charged the BJP government in Gujarat with furthering the interests of selected few industrialists at the cost of general well-being of local entrepreneurs.
Addressing small traders, industrialists and doctors here on Sunday, Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Arjun Modhwadia and party state in charge Mohan Prakash alleged the government led by Narendra Modi did not recognize the existence of local entrepreneurship at all.
“It cares only for a handful of industrialists. This state government cares for Tatas who gave employment to just 1,700 people, but neglects the textile sector which provides livelihood to 17 lakh people in the region.” TNN
