Call it coincidence or an irony. On the day when chief minister Narendra Modi reached Surajkund near New Delhi to attend Bharatiya Janata Party's national executive and council meeting, his bete noire Sanjay Joshi's posters resurfaced in various parts of Ahmedabad.

Posters praising Sanjay Joshi were pasted at various places in Ranip, Maninagar, Satellite road, Vastrapur, Drive-in road and other areas of the city.

A huge poster reading “Kaho dil se, Sanjay Joshi Fir se (Say it from your heart, Sanjay Joshi once again)” with the photograph of Joshi and BJP's party symbol Lotus was pasted near Helmet circle. Most of the posters in this area were identical. It is believed that in other areas of the city posters with other slogans are pasted. It should be noted that at a national executive meet at Mumbai in June, Modi insisted on removal of Sanjay Joshi. However, after his removal, the RSS strong man with immense organising capacity is slowly regaining his grounds. He has visited Gujarat frequently to participate in non-political events.

Last time, he was in Gujarat on September 12, a day after Narendra Modi's birthday, to deliver a lecture on Swami Vivekananda at Modasa. Incidentally, on the previous day Modi started his Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra from the same place praising the life and work of Swami Vivekanand.
