Man who threatened Dipda Darwaza case witness held

Police arrested a 25-year-old man from Visnagar in Mehsana district on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to kill the key witness in Dipda Drawaza case. The case relates to the killing of 11 members of a family during post-Godhra violence in 2002. As many as 83 people, including a sitting MLA, are allegedly involved in the massacre. The designated court is set to pronounce its verdict in the case on July 30.
    A resident of Dipda Drawaza in Visnagar Kalpesh Rawal has been allegedly threatening the key witness in the sensational case. The accused confessed that he had made the calls after he bought a sim card from a mobile shop located on S K College Road in Visnagar.
    Mohamad Hanif Baloch on Monday registered a police complaint saying he had received phone calls from an unknown person who claimed to be a Bajrang Dal member.
